Temporary front grille nephrectomy

Anyone know how to access the inside of the kidneys? On my E30s and the E83 X3, it was easy to unscrew the top shroud near the grilles. I am trying to get my CCA badge on to the grille, and it seems like on the 1SMC that the schroud is contiguous with a LOT of plastic.

Any suggestions?

I used this DIY here: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=210582

It took some effort but I got them out.

Thanks for the link, DS. Maybe my search could have been better. I would like to do this as gently as possible.

Just pull them out. Nothing will break and they will be out in 10 seconds each without using any tools.

To install the new ones, just push them in.

It's safer to use the video posted. I used the same method and it worked just fine.
