a 135is driver; totally unresponsive on the LIE.

135i owner totally unresponsive in the LIE

128 driver totally unresponsive on the Northern state.

the majority of 1er drivers i've seen on the road are totally unresponsive.....NON-1er BMW drivers are far more interested. Pretty strange.....not sure what that's all about.

when i had my 135 and saw a few 1Ms, i used to do whatever it took to check it out and wave or give a thumbs up....maybe i'm just nuts as i STILL try to do that with any 1ers i see but they are just all numb and lifeless! lol

It's the difference between an enthusiast and a non-enthusiast. We know which one we are. Some 1er owners are clueless and just drive around from point a to point b, not knowing that what they have is special. I, like you, would go out of my way to get the attention of another owner to give a wave or a thumbs up. Always will!

Saw someone in an X1 the other day getting on the highway. They noticed me and floored it for a short distance. I was like "really??" until I pulled up in traffic and the young driver was looking over and gave a big thumbs up so it was nice to see a fan in another BMW.

Very, very, nice looking white 1M in a Brooklyn parking garage. It has Oregon plates, a roof rack, an M3 hood, and some cf stuff on the back.

Looks absolutely stellar.

Might just take you up on that. I trying to figure out what intercooler to run. I see a bunch of different ones with different sizes and I'm not sure which one I'm going to go with.
