SoCal - Help with sign off with no-front-plate

Can anyone help with signing off a no-front-plate citation issued by the city parking enforcement?

Wow bad luck. Pretty sure you have to pay since CA requires a front plate. What area were you in?

What sucks is that I need to get an officer to sign off AND pay.

I really don't mind paying but this sucks balls.

I street parked one night at a somewhat wealthy neighborhood, and the city parking patrol cited me. WTF.

I know Fullerton College has a state ref station there that can sign off on you're ticket.

It's annoying, but you can just get a tow hook license plate, pay the $25 at the sheriff's station to get it signed off, and then just take it back off. That's what I did.

I'm near westwood and santa monica
Use tow hook license to get it sign. I only got a ticket for this problem one time when i don't have the license plate in front but on the windshield. Now i have a fake EURO license plate in front for looking. Never get pull over or tickets. I know some street parking will give you ticket but some will not.

One time my friend got a ticket because they didnt saw the plate was at the lower grill.(park too close to the front car) A ticket for $25, he go to the office and show them that he actually have the plate but still need to pay $10 for something they say fee.
