Exhaust Dent (question)

Hi, I bought a used 2013, 7000miles, 135i N55 DCT 2 weeks ago.

Today, looking beneath the car I saw 2 "small" dents on the exhaust (images below).

Do you think this could have any impact on performance?

Thanks

not sure about the dent on top but the one on the bottom is like that from the factory. I wouldnt worry at all about it.

most likely came with the 2 dents from the factory. The exahust is pretty free flowing even with those dents.

also you will notice another dent where it gets close to the suspension/control arm. its just the way they bend the pipe.

I have dents like that on my Performance exhaust and when my installer opened the box, he brought it to my attention. Then he looked at the stock exhaust on my car and saw the same dents, so it's perfectly normal.

Perfectly normal. It is how BMW uses super German engineering to give the exhaust just enough back pressure.
