Lux V3 install on 1M

I searched and found a few installs but thought i'd show a quick video of the comparison of the stock V's the Lux V3. It was a very tight install but i think they look great.

It would not be a problem if you position the ballast on the bottom of the headlight.

I would definitely use some velcro to hold the ballast inside the cover. Takes 2 more seconds and you wont ever have to worry about the ballast moving into the adaptive headlight.

Were you able to do this? I don't think there is enough space for that which is why people have been putting it in the slot at the bottom

Yes - I bought some industrial strength stick on velcro at Lowes/Home Depot and I put two strips on the inside of the headlight housing at the bottom and then put the other strip on the resistor. Pressed it on and no more movement!

How easy is it to install? I'm def a novice when it comes to this sort of thing. Changing the oil/spark plugs/tires is about all I'm good for.

I've ordered them but just trying to decide to go for it or have someone else pop them in.

The hardest part is getting the plastic covers back on the rear of the headlamps, which requires patience, but once you have done it a few times the whole job takes around 10-15 mins. LUX have a great DIY on their website.
Good to know. Thanks!
