Nanoskin AutoScrub products?
Does anyone have any experience with their fine grade wash mitt or fine grade foam pad? They say it's supposed to be a replacement for clay bar's, but I've not heard much about them.

I haven't had personal experience with it, but I've heard good things. I personally went with Optimum Opti-Eraser. Half the price of nano scrub and in my experience works better and easier than traditional clay bar.

I've used the 6" and 3" foam pad on my Griots DA polishers and its pretty darn awesome. It works as well as a claybar, in less time, and doesn't leave residue that I get with a claybar. Note that I still need to use a claybar in areas where the pads don't fit.
If you decide to get the foam pads, a few words of advice

I've used the autoscrub quite a bit. I strongly recommend it if you want to clean larger panels quickly. It doesn't work as well in small areas where a claybar is smaller and able to get in nooks and crannies easier.
However, for doing things like the hood, quarter panels, doors, etc, it's VERY fast and it works perfectly. If you get it, be sure to read the directions for the spray lube and dilute it properly. |
