My ER charge pipe popped off and I had to limp the car a few miles before getting to a place that had tools to re-attach it. Obviously the car was breathing unfiltered air while the pipe was disconnected (less than 10 miles). Anyone have any thoughts as to how likely it would be that the engine would have suffered any damage from sucking unfiltered air during said period?
The car drives fine right now, but I'm a little paranoid about it. |

How did this happen??
Curious how this happened?? - when you got it home and checked things out - what was the reason the Charge Pipe came off??
Please share. Thanks! |

Yeah
But OP managed to pop off ER charge pipe which is supposed to be curing that disease of the stock car and managing better the higher boost levels as well as overboost function. So I also wonder what is the reason? Bad install or very high boost levels due to a tune?

Do you have a BOV attached to the CP? I had to have my ER CP somewhat custom made (Tial flange relocated) because mine didn't line up as well as I wanted it too either.
