If nothing else, the drug dealing caliper adapter picture was pretty funny.

Btw... did you guys happen to watch that video of the EGR delete on a 128i(I think?). Here it is... Just look at how much carbon buildup there is on that intake manifold!!! Ugggg!

So this brings up the next issue...running wheels with an offset big enough to clear the calipers....tricky tricky!

anyone wanna take bets on whether this rotor will fit or not?

http://www.racingbrake.com/two-piece-rotor-pair-23.html

I really want this upgrade, but i am dead set on getting 2-piece rotors.

that's not going to work. our rotors are 338x26 that one is 345x30. why not buy their 338x28 one that some folks have already bought?

if i cant find a 345x28, ill go with the 338x28. I just think this spacer, with a 345x28 2 piece rotor is as close to a bbk as you can get, this side of 2 grand.

Im trying to figure out why one would end up needing the 15mm spacer ???

if anything the rotor hat appears to be deeper, meaning the rotor itself would go further inward towards the strut as opposed to outward ????

maybe im thinking of it wrong ???

still not a bad idea..

also im going blind looking at those pics so large

racingbrake changed their site, you have to search for a specific car now, instead of rotor sizes.

stupid.

Well the problem is that you can't put those adapters on stock wheels the caliper will stick out and touch the rim inner side, maybe you will have to go with "19. Also forget about winter wheels "17. But on the other hand it is really cheap and I think best solution for brake upgrade.

I think it's for diesel engine EGR = Exhaust Gas Recirculation for diesel engines to make them more green. It lets gases from exhaust to the intake manifold to burn it again. But it creates tons of carbon inside inlet manifold and all other parts. So we are still lucky with carbon build up which we have on petrol DI engines

sorry off topic
BMW 535d
M57 engine tuned
To draw an analogy
Stock-on wheels 200.5 ---- 272 (in passport)
tuning on wheels 315.6 ---- 428 horsepower to the engine.

DH...i think you got it backwards...to me the hat looks shallower...and where the rotor connects to the hat looks to be closer to the middle of the hat vs on the left edge. That would cause the need for the offset.
