2011 135i Base Stereo Upgrade

After many searches and checking all locations for amp, I found I have the 6-speaker Stereo system with no amp :-(. Did some research regarding upgrading, found Technic (who is awesome by the way) and was able to order Stereo 2/4 harness and applicable hardware. He recommended the ARC Mini KS125.4 amp, MQ Quart QM200.3, and SWS-8Xs under seats. I was wondering:

1) what is unique about the ARC Mini? the hi-pass mini to RCA cables(LOC)? or the signal sensing remote turn on?

2) what other amps have these capabilities? and does the ARC MINI have any advantages?

3) Will any Component speakers work as long as they have a adjustable crossover due to the weighted EQ on stock HU (without recoding)?

4) are there any other options besides DSP to 'flatten' the signal?

Thanks!

I want to say the ARC comes recommended not so much because it's unique but because it's a solid amp overall - size, efficiency, features, quality, reliability, etc. Plenty of other options but it's a good one.

Each of those recommendations I would say are good ones, after having done some recent researching myself I tend to see people settling on these options specifically, often after trial & error. Technic also seems to have quite a lot of experience listening to the different speaker options and knowing what works well.

I'm often loathe to just go with what a single person recommends, but FWIW these really seem to be great recommendations and you won't go wrong simply going with them.

Oh, and aside from outboard DSP, signal flattening I believe can be done int he head unit but only if it is "coded" for the mid level output. That will depend on your own abilities or if you can find a shop in town to handle it for you. That's a whole new subject.

So my plans now are to get the Technic harness (2/4), install JL XD4004v2 to drive the front doors (Focal 100KRS), and the 2 under seat woofers (SWS-8XI). I looked at getting the cleansweep as well. Is this required when the 100KRS have crossovers? I know it would improve the sound quality, but how much would be effected? and will there be any kind of problems with theses components working together?
