soft paint work
My E91 (sparkling graphite) is only six weeks old. Last week, taking our dogs out in a local forest, I discovered a number of scratches on the passenger side. These scratches were approx 12-14 inches long. Bloody kids on bikes I thought. Went to my local dealer this morning to get some advise. Didn't want to start to Tcut the paintwork on a 6 week old car. They told me that these scratches were caused by me driving into bushes etc. Paint is now water based instead of cellulose based and therefor a lot softer. They got a guy from the workshop and he spend in excess of 45min to remove the scratches. He done a fantastic job, can't see nothing now...all gone. And the best part....All part of the service - no charge. I was impressed.

That is great service without a question. You would never expect that here without a great price.

Nor did I, It was a warm and sunny day, doesn't happen very often here in the UK. They must have been in a good mood. This is the second car we bought of the same dealer (BMW Mini Cooper 3 yrs ago). Always been treated well.

Depends how deep your scratches are I guess........1000 seems a bit over the top. mine weren't through to the metal.
