Id have to disagree. This exhaust sounds more aggressive than the AFE. It's louder, and meaner sounding and it doesnt have that burble on idle.

If you have a chance to ride in my car which may change your opinion. My current setup has aFe + Maddad mid-pipes (2nd cat-delete) which sound quite loud and aggressive. And again, like what I've said, sound is very subjective and a lot of times, you have to listen in person before you can make a relistic judgement about how well do you like the sound. Based on the sound track, I like Corsa and Meisterchaf the best.

Sorry for the delays. Haven't posted in the past week. The first production run which will finally start next week will still be the double walled tip style. After speaking with our shop it is a bit of work tooling up for the old single wall and I would do it if we had at least a half dozen customers that wanted that way. So I don't want to string any of you guys along who have their hearts set on the single wall. If there was enough of a moment and a hit list of folks that want it we can do run of them just for you guys but at least for this initial production run they will all be of the double walled tip style shown.

The tips are 3.5". I will measure mine tomorrow to let you folks now the full width of both tips. I know I got an email asking this because the factory optional carbon diffuser has a little less tip clearance than the standard one.

One final change is we made a one of the hangers detachable so that we could fit the exhaust in a smaller box. This will allow us to ship to Canada via US Postal Service because the box will now come under the size limit and it should also help lower shipping costs to other countries like Australia where I know there are quite a few 135i.

The 128i is not forgotten. There are just other projects that have been taking development time ahead of it. Its still on my radar but no ETA currently.

I'm "hoping" to have the pre-orders ship end of this week. I will know better tomorrow. We just had huge back up of different product production that all hit around the same time.

You guys that have the early pre-orders..sorry about the delays. They will be out the door this month but they are still tentatively another week out. We made a couple of really small change but I've learned one has caused an extra little delay. In an effort to get the exhaust in a smaller box that will help bring down shipping costs for folks outside the U.S, we made one of the exhaust hagners removable. We had to have a small part lazer cut and that was subbed out. As a bonus to you guys that ordered more than 3 weeks ago we're going to be modifying your order and taking off an extra $25 for your patience.

Hi guys,

OK...just got off the phone with my fabrication shop. They will be running the Street production Friday. Regular stainless steel tipped versions could ship as soon as Monday. Black ceramic coated will take another 2 weeks maybe a little sooner, as we wait for tips to come from the ceramic coater.

For those that have been on the fence...there will be no lines and no waiting on the regular ss tipped setup. There are 4 that will be available to ship right away starting Monday.

I had some notes in previous posts about the removable hanger to put these into a smaller box. That won't be the case with this first run. I didn't want any further delays and that was part of the conversation with my shop today. If you live outside the US and Canada, still PM for a shipping quote. We've been gettings some very competitive rates with fedex. The last exhaust we shipped to Australia ran $285 which was pretty reasonable.

Also, we've extended that coupon code so anyone placing an order now can still get the extra $50 off.
