DCT Newbie - difference between sport button and sport mode on shifter?
I will be taking delivery of my 135iS hopefully next weekend or the following at the latest. I have owned 4 3 series BMWs over the years and own two right now. All of them have had manual transmissions. The 135iS will ave a DCT.
When I look at the DCT there are two distinct modes but I'm not sure of the difference. Can someone clarify? Sport button: I think this puts the trans in sport mode and sharpens the throttle response. Sport mode on the transmission: Does not sharpen the throttle response. Is the above correct?
