E85 mix question

Installed COBB about 2 weeks ago and it's running great except the fact that I have no cruise control. Next week I'm set to get with protunningfreaks here in NOVA to set up a 93octane map and an E85 map. I am FBO so I think this is the next logical step. I do plan early next year to flash to stock and run JB4 on top of COBB.

What is the recommended mix of E85 and 93 octane that will not cause many cold start issues or any other issues in my car? What I would like is to hit anything from 400 to 430 RHPW. Again, it maybe or not attainable but I think it should get there from the info I've read in both the addicts and this site. Will the tune need to be super agressive to hit the 430 whp mark? I plan on using OTS maps for daily driving or the 93map so I will only use it on the track (mostly 1/4 mile track).

Lastly, has anyone in the Md/Va/DC area used protunning freaks, I talked with Jake Heshorin and he sounded knowledgeable but again I think they work on more than just BMWs according to the COBB website. Any input is appreciated.

a 70/30 mix of pump and e85 seems popular amongst those who use it, much stronger and i think you start to max out trims and run lean. Ive heard nothing but good things about PTF in the dmv area.

A 30%-50% mix of e85 is the most common on Cobb cars. It makes GREAT power and is pretty cold weather friendly.

PTF are a great group of guys. Jake is VERY good at what he does

Might be unrelated because I have a different tube but I run the procede tune on e85 maps and did a 50/50 blend... At this mixture I got a lean run code, went to 45 e85/55 pump and the car runs amazingly well!

Just ask your tuner what he recommends. Currently I run about a 30% mix with the OTS E30 maps.

Not 100% sure but those are my future plans, so I can use utilize the failsafes JB4 offers while on meth. Again not very familiar with JB4 or COBB for that matter yet, but I'm learning.

Pretty sure Cobb explicitly said not to do JB on top of Cobb.

Its no big deal to run JB4 on top, but honestly Cobb+HFS3/4 is all you need for a great/reliable meth system.
