Wow, good to hear your cylinder isn't scored. Any idea the cause? Do you use e82 or race gas (which sometimes is really aviation gas)?

Well it turns out im not honing the block since BMW is giving me a new long block

but no i wasnt running e82 or racegas. i think it was due to a injector failure but im not mechanic. All i know is that cyl was lean. ill be keeping an eye on it now with the new motor.
