UUC Motorwerks wants your E90 330 (Ohio area)
Hey guys,
If you live in Ohio, close enough to the Cincinnatti/Berea area, UUC wants your 330i to assist in developing the UUC/Corsa Performance exhaust system for the E90. At no cost to you other than a few days of borrowing your car, you will receive one of the very first (and always the very BEST!) exhaust system. Please contact me directly either by phone (908-874-9092) or e-mail ( rob@shortshifter.com ) if interested. - Rob Levinson UUC Motorwerks * http://www.uucmotorwerks.com * 908-874-9092 |

if you want to come down to FL and pick my car up... its ALL urs... i wish someone did something nice like that in miami or tampa, cuz id be cool with free stuff on my car... exhaust also seems like one of those things harder to mess up as aposed to something like a turbo or supercharger....

Forgive me, but what the heck is a UUC Corsa exhaust? My specs are below and I expect to get my vehicle this weekend or next week sometime. Already off the boat in Chas. and at the VPC. And, I live in Cincinnati. Other than the fact I'm apparently a perfect guinea pig for this, what the heck is it and why would I want it. Please don't flame!

See this link for an example of their exhaust http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/tse3/ Do it Jon! Record some sound files for us. |

Hi guys,
Sorry for the delayed follow-up, didn't get the response notification. UUC in NJ has a co-development relationship with Corsa Performance in Ohio... we set certain specifications, Corsa does the physical fit-up, sound level certification, and manufacturing. Final testing and tuning is done by UUC. For details on what we've done with the E46 (very similar to the E90 in powertrain and exhaust layout), please see: http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/tse3/ For those unfamiliar with Corsa, they are the premiere exhaust manufacturer in the world... they act as "in house" performance exhaust developers for Daimler-Chrysler, GM, and also for many ultra-performance speedboat tuners. Their proprietary Reflective Sound-Cancellation™ (RSC™) technology is very trick and completely unique in the exhaust industry. Read about it here: http://www.uucmotorwerks.com/tse3/arsctech.htm It's a fascinating concept that works on the concept of inverting the sound waves so that they cancel out the specifically targeted frequencies. The result is quiet cruising but with a fantastic full-throttle roar. This technology is what has enabled UUC to offer SAE J1169 sound level compliance certification for states that restrict exhaust volume - the UUC/Corsa exhaust brand is the only one to offer this for BMW. The resulting sound at full throttle is simultaneously very European and muscle-car, sort of a "Targa Florio meets Talladega" sound. For those of you that get European Car magazine, the September 2005 issue has a complete review of our E36 and E46 UUC/Corsa exhausts... "PROVEN: The Sound of Silence". Quite simply, what we've offered for the E36 and E46 is the best-quality (100% stainless steel, made in USA, and lifetime warranty), best-sounding, best-performing, and best-looking exhaust. The plan is to continue this record with the E90 to improve your driving experience as much as possible. Wildcat Jon, please contact me when you have your car. - Rob Levinson |

Thanks for that description Rob. I'm personally looking forward to the exhaust, I've known a couple of people with UUC exhausts for their e46 and have had great things to say.

We may be having a scheduling conflict with the owner of the car we intended to use (Frank, please call me when you get a chance).
If it turns out that we need to find another test vehicle, I invite anyone local to Berea, OH (or willing to travel there) to contact me ASAP as a back-up. - Rob Levinson UUC Motorwerks * http://www.uucmotorwerks.com * 908-874-9092 |
