Aftermarket Head-Up-Display (HUD)

Has anyone seen or heard of an aftermarket HUD?

I'd be interested in one that

a) Integrates nicely into the 135i
b) Shows speed in kmh
c) Shows gear selection. I don't looking down at the instrument panel (got the auto).

Thanks

VDO is the OEM manufacturer of all gauges etc for BMW, so it probably is the OEM one!

Hey,
Malz have these.....not sure how good they are, will go check them out when I get back from work!
Malz also deals with VDO as I have ordered gauges from them before, I will see if they can get a price on the HUD.

not sure what brand that one is - their catalogue is very low-res

Waeco (the camp fridge guys) have a hud also - see http://www.waeco.com.au/products.asp...&subCatId2=103

good luck finding a waeco retailer that sells anything other than fridges

I'm pretty sure Malz is a WA only thing. Don't blame him though, Supercheap sucks. I used to go to Marlows all the time, only went once to Supercheap. Don't know if I'd buy a HUD from either place though!

Thanks for all the input on my question!

BTW..other than the OEM, what do these HUDs connect to ie: where do they get the speed info from?
