Dr. Kay Segler disclosed his favorite 1M color during the 2011 NA International Auto Show:
"It's on offer in three colors but definitely this is the color you'll have to order: it's Valencia Orange".
IMHO the President of BMW M GmbH's preference should count for at least 10 additional VO votes.

Worldwide prod is 2700; 800 is the allocation for the US.

Anyway, after much deliberation, it's AW for me - saw one in the flesh last week just in time to get back to my dealer who was buggin me to lock in colour!

After days of jumping from black to white, white to black... I decided to opt for my first ever white car. Still - told last week that it won't be in the UK until Jan 2012, so still time to change my mind. Orange is just too LAD for me.

Never had a black car before. Might as well be the 1M

Besides, my significant other was violently opposed to AW and since I got to buy a $55k toy, I could at least respect her color choice.

I was at the Ring this weekend and a lot of 1M where there, but I was the only one with a VO one. (4 White, 2 black, 1 VO) On the street I only saw a few 1M, but only in black in white, none in VO so far. In Europe VO seems to be the most rare one. Also dragging the most attention
