Installation of rearspoiler at dealer?
If I ordered a rearspoiler for my e90, when my car gets here, does the dealer install it or do they take it else where to get it installed for me?

The DIY instructions show something like a greasegun being used. My guess would be a bead of silicone around the edge to keep water from getting underneath.

It is actually suck to the car using a special epoxy ( thats why the instructions show a epoxy gun )
The dealer can do it jJst remember they are not allowed to drive the car for sometihing like 6 Hours after they stick it so it can dry, and you mustnt wash it for 48 hours |

My dealer did it for free. Make sure you tell him you will give him all 5's on his report. You should also get a 10% discount on your spoiler if your a BMW Car Club member. The tech manual says it a 1/2 hour job.

The reason why I asked was cause I wanted the dealer to throw in the spoiler but they said that I will have to pay for installation and they cant include that cause they take it else where to have it installed. I didnt believe that. I thought the dealer can do it themselves if its so easy

This is prolly one of the easiest of the DIY self-installs there is. If you don't feel confident doing it yourself just take it to a bodyshop that works with fitting body/aero kits on cars and they'll do it in half an hour.. just bring them the DIY instructions. Whatever you do don't let the dealer convince you it's a very hard/long installation. bobnaz says the tech manual says it's a half hour job and it shouldn't be any more than that.

Yes my dealer admitted to me that it was a fairly easy process, but the body shop as we all know, screws people over.. and he said i would be quoted with a 2hr job...
And im not a very hands on type of person
