Installing jb4

I've read the instructions and I'm confident I can do this job.

My question is, can I do serious damage if I get something wrong?

I'd rather not risk frying the ECU to save $100 on installation.

Extremely unlikely. Especially if you have the new color coded plug and play variety. But, as always mod at your own risk.

Thanks, yeah it's a brand new G5 board, all color coded.

I have everything open while I'm doing my charge pipe and it looks reasonable, all the pins on the one I bought are in good shape.

Biggest thing is double triple check your power wire connections and location and make sure the DME pins seat correctly. Cakewalk beyond that.

I was worried too, but once you get all the cowls off and everything it's very simple.

Possible, yes but hard to do.

Disconnect battery and triple check your work paying attention to the smallest detail and orientation.

It's only a handful of plugs so it's really not hard.

Had the cowl off for a charge pipe and intake installation. That took maybe 10mins. Probably 20-30mins more for the jb4.

It took me longer to read the instructions and watch the video to be honest. It's very simple, but you must take it slow and be patient.
