That sucks. I didn't end up having time to make it down. I was meeting a group of friends at Water World that morning. Next time hopefully.

Yea, it turns out my HPFP went kaput. I took it to Murray and they replaced it super fast.

Speculation and not talking about anyone in specific; but with all these HPFP failures, I wonder if it's because people aren't running their cars hard enough for the fuel pump to actually reach its full potential.

My build date was Sep 08, one of the first of MY09 - ordered it when I was still stationed in Germany. From Oct 08 - Feb 09, I ran it with European fuel and ran it 'like the Germans' after the break-in period. It sat around for three months before I picked it back up in the US, ran 91 octane fuel from AAFES (not sure where they get the fuel from), and have absolutely no problems with it. I try to push it hard on the weekends and/or whenever I can because most of my daily commute totals only 8 miles.

I don't have plans on Saturday morning, so I should be able to make it this time around.

I'm coming from downtown, and I'll probably leave around 9:00ish. So look for me around 9:30 or 9:45 - Space Grey M-Sport 135. And Ill try and park where there are a few open spots so we can have an awesome line of 1ers!

I need to meet up with you all, if you don't mind Space Grey taking over. Just moved here a couple of months ago...

HPR in October anyone? I'll be there the 23rd, maybe the 31st.

Be great to see another N54er or N52er out there.

I'd love to get out to HPR again, but I'll need new tires before I hit the track again. We should try to organize another meet before it starts to snow around here.
