I use a microfibre cloth (a cheap one from the supermarket). I soak it in water and then wring it out so that it is only slightly damp (almost dry). I wipe the wood and there is so little water it dries immediately as I rub it. A couple of times, I have used BMW interior cleaner fluid diluted in water (just a drop or two) again on an almost dry but slightly damp microfibre. This very mild detergent will remove oils. If you don't have this use a few drops of woolite mixed with a cup of water. I clean the leather the same way. I avoid using chemicals and detergent as much as possible. Microfibre is great it is will absorb surface grime. |
