no spoiler

i took the spoiler off today. here are some pictures from after the wash...

Looks better without the OEM spoiler, IMHO... I think the OEM spolier sits too far forward, an looks out of place to me. I actually have a painted performance spoiler, however when I placed in on the deck lid I noticed that the paint didn't match... I'm leaving mine off for now...

Not at all. I took it off & snapped a picture before I put the CF spoiler on.

Not sure what the downforce values would be for a flush-mounted, two-inch spoiler, but if the car is going to get tail happy, that spoiler won't make much of a difference one way or another. I've always seen it as a cosmetic thing.

I think the spoiler is too small to have any real effect on downforce.... we kept the spoiler on our race car on but have been thinking about adding a large racing spoiler to see if there are any benefits from the added downforce.
