You know me all too well Peter.
I often drive my car on map 8 which forces the car to enter limp mode just so I can preserve my turbos. Instant loss of about 150kw

The finish and feel of the product is really great. Looks to be a pretty nice piece of kit.

As for the other end I undid the twisty connector (similar to the DV connector) first and prised off the connector and put the twisty connector back with the new hose attached.

Thanks for the tips mate.

Unfortunately, lately time is as much a concern as ability for this monkey...

Hoping to do it once weekend with FJP.
For sure we have to tee it up and get those grills done too... Need to loose the chrome.

Emptied my BMS OCC yesterday. Had it in the car for a few months and done a few track days. Can was about 1-1.5cm deep, coated in black nasty oil. Definitely worthwhile having this in my car.

Good/bad to hear. I'd better check mine soon. Good/bad that it's hidden away.

I went with an AR Design catch can but I have to agree with Peter. The BMS version is better.

From everything I've read the BMS OCC is the only OCC that works.

Re-igniting an old thread, but emptied my BMW OCC for the first time after having it in the car for 6 months, not a drop in it. I wouldnt have even said there was a film on the edges, cars got 23k km's.

That's great. I'd like to open mine and have it empty but I'm not so lucky.

The pcv system vents to the intake pipe

So intake pipe>turbo>fmic>cp/bov>intake mani

So yeah kinda.. OCC should stop most of it though.

Yeah its not a brag, more surprise on my part to find nothing in there and was wondering if anyone had experienced the same. Miniscule amounts of oil around the PCV valve which has been upgraded to an RB PCV and very small amount in just the first 1cm of the OCC "inlet" tube on exit from the valve case, but more than 1 cm down the line it was dry. Figured running procede id be in for more than that but low kays maybe..?

Hopefully i havent done anything wrong but its setup the same as all the installs/pics...

Same here. Last time I opened up my OCC after 6 months of spirited driving, it was empty and mine was installed by Pete@AdvanPerformance.
Will have another look when I get back from Cairns later this week.
