Yellow BMW Performance Brake Kit for 135is

Looking for some info. on the genuine BMW Performance Brake kit in yellow.

Is this exactly the same thing as what I have on my 2013 is, just different color calipers?

I'm interested in the yellow calipers, but am having trouble finding info on the stock 2013 is brakes, other than they're "performance" and Brembo. TIA!

BMW Performance Calipers are the same as your stock ones, just painted yellow. The Performance rotors however are slotted and drilled.

The yellow calipers were the same brakes on your current car and there is no benefit to upgrade, but if you want to improve performance save your money for the Brembo brake kit.

+1

The BMWP calipers are exactly the same except for the colour...which is beautiful...which is why I bought a kit

The rotors, in addition to being slotted and drilled are also slightly lighter than stock rotors, maybe around 2lb or something like that. However people have documented them cracking with heavy track use so I'd recommend getting some improved cooling such as F30 (I think) backing plates and possibly ducting.
