Would these fit our cars?

Would these new m performance brakes from lets say the 2 series or 3 series fit our cars?

Interesting, I would like to know as well.

I would guess the hub carriers/spindles are different from E8X/E9X to the F2X/F3X. Hoping someone can give us some info.

Maybe someone like Dackelone can give us diagrams with part numbers? This will take a bit of research but worth looking into.

The idea is yes, but need 19's. Otherwise you may have to shave one side of caliper off

These would fit on 18" actually. It's one of the requirements, minimum 18" rims. But the question is not if these clear the wheels but more if they're compatible with our cars.

What makes you think the bias is right?

Are you currently overheating your brakes?

Are these an actual upgrade unlike the BMW "Brembo BBK" of the e9x/e8x gen?

Sorry I just got confused when I read are my current brakes overheating. I basically was wondering if they fit just for looks. I don't drive my car hard enough to justify spending 6k on a BBK.

Well, seeing as the M calipers are ~$850-$900 each, and you would still need to get pads/rotors/supporting hardware for them, I suspect your end cost would not be too far off that of a real BBK.

Plus you would get more than looks/questionable performance.

Are they really that much per? That's grotesque for what you get...I mean the stock calipers/rotors/pads don't suck but they're nothing to write home about at all. I had no idea new calipers were so much.

Just pulled the part numbers off RealOEM and punched it in to get the MSRP. Might be able to save a few bucks somewhere.

Either way, not cheap.
