Glad to see you've got it sorted mate, I'd be steering clear of that workshop in future, they obviously have no idea about coilovers.

I think I want to induce more understeer because it feels similar to stock on these settings.
I'm not getting you here. It's pretty much universally accepted that the car has too much understeer with the stock suspension, so you want to add more? Explain what you think the problem is...

Lol sorry I meant to say that I want to induce oversteer hence the reason why I said I'm not completely happy with the current settings because it feels similar to stock, which understeers.

Gotcha. Think about the E92/93 sway bar if you haven't done so already. Doing the M3 front wishbones will give you a lot more camber in front which will also help in buying you some turn-in,

The sway bar is the next mod on my list and I think it will complete my suspension setup and then I will focus on other aspects of my car. I'm having a hard time deciding between the E90/E92 and E93 sway bar. I've heard great things about both but not sure which way to go at this point.

If you want to induce more oversteer (rear wheels stepping out), lowering the rear more will reduce it....opposite of what you want. Suspension setup 101

I think you need to accept your priorities might be more swayed by looks, than handling.

I only just noticed that a rubber piece is missing when I opened the box with my stock suspension today. Anyone know what this piece is called? I plan to give the workshop a call tomorrow.

i believe that the spring holds it up and compresses it.
