Canberra ACT Drive Day

Come to the nations capital its a great city, be proud as to what it has to offer. Great 'driving wining and dining'.
Be a part of this fantastic journey through the out back of the ACT with your peers.
See the blurrr of Aussie wildlife and fawner as we wander through the foot hills of the Brindibella's and Snowy mountains. (Go on.... see if you can out run that GPS of yours)
Marvell at the interesting photo opportunities that will be presented. There are many, wild life, tracking station, Fawner, natural back drops. Not to mention when we get back to town or before we go e.g. War Mamorial, Parliment house, Black Mountain, etc.
Eat great home prepared food and drink at lunch time!
Be a part or the night time festivities of banter tall stories with like minded friends and peers with good food and beverages.
Be a part of this great adventure, it will be a ball!

Now that Ive glossed (or hazed) it over a bit-
Where - Canberra at Regatta point, there is a coffee shop there.
When - 10am' ish 9th May 2009
Who is invited - Any car loving person (doesnt have to be BMW's but you will have to keep up!

), from Os , interstate, ACT that wants to join in with like minded people.
What to bring- CB, Lunch (home prepared food

), camera, bottle of your favorite wine for dinner if you want, enthusiasm.
Need to know
- one or two nights
- ruff nightly expenditure, $100, $150, $200 ish ? PM if you want. Will get every one together.
-Food loves.

Any thing Ive missed out on please let me (and the collective) know.
Want to make this a good event.

Thanks for organising this Chris. Count me in.

Having spoken with Fiona, it seems likely that I'll be driving to/from Canberra solo on the day (without Fiona and Alex), and not staying overnight. I'm still keen to stay for dinner and drinkies on Saturday evening.

Food loves? Anything provided it has chilli in/on it.

Bob, all the Northern 1er's can meet up with me at Rhodes (Homebush Bay Drive) and then head on down to the M5 and on to Canberra..

BTW Kim tells me its Mothersday w/end.
now if there is a few that dont want to stay may I suggest we meet at around 10 ish then we can do what we want to do by about 3 ish maybe 4 and you guys (girls) can be back in Syd by around 6-7. The rest bring plenty of Berrocca!!.

4th April is perfect for all three of us to come down and stay overnight. Thats Bryan, Fiona & Alex. Count us in for sure! A room with a double and single bed would be ideal, but we can bring an airbed for Alex if needed. No problem.
