Great news taka - just as an indication. I was able to collect my car from BMW Melbourne after 8 days from docking. Assuming you didn't purchase any of paint/leather/window protection from BMW, it shouldn't take them long for pre-delivery checks etc.

I went to the dealership again. Triple confirmed the docking date of 18th (this Saturday) barring the weather condition (which is sunny and mild for Sat hehe

We have set the delivery as priority and pushing the delivery date to 30th April ... finger crossed

It should leave Fremantle on the 15th (tomorrow). Go around now and see if you can see the cargo ship!

They will not know if the car has arrive the yard for compliance. In Melbourne, it is done in Laverton.

The longest process is to have it plated to get to dealership. That part cannot be fully control but can be priorised the order... say your dealer have 30 cars from that ship ... your 135 could be placed in the front.

Once the car is in the dealership. The predelivery is pretty quick... can't wait RadiuM.

mine took 7 days to be delivered to me from the daythe boat landed which i think is excellent! They also installed the GPS during that time
