New Shoes for the New Year! Alufelgen SF71s in Sports Gunmetal
I wanted to share some pics of my '08 135i with the new shoes! Once I get my front lip back on, I'll get some professional shots done.
First off, I want to thank the guys over at Alufelgen. I know they've had issues with the group buy for the SF71s but in the end, the results are amazing. These wheels look even better in person! I contacted them via Email and decided to make the drive from Orlando to Miami to pick them up in person. Since I work Monday - Friday, I was only able get to Miami on the weekends. Unfortunately Alufelgen is closed on the weekends, however the owner of the company decided to meet with me on a Saturday so that I can pick up the wheels! I was able to choose between silver metallic, gloss black, or sports gunmetal. I decided to go with sports gunmetal after he took the wheel outside to show off the color in the sunlight. Needless to say, I'm extremely happy with the Alufelgen SF71s in the sports gunmetal. It's not too light and yet not too dark. Here's the specs... Front: 19x8 et45 w/Continental Extreme Contact DW 225/35/19 Rear: 19x9 et48 w/Continental Extreme Contact DW 265/30/19 Suspension: KW V2 coilovers Slight roll in front fenders & rear quarters from previous wheel/tire setups Slight rub in rear with 4 people in vehicle and hitting large dips on the highway Let me know what you guys think!!! |

Your car looks fantastic. That Sports Gunmetal is very nice too!
Are you able to take more photos of your car with emphasis on the hood and roof as well? Our cars look very similar and I'm going for the same look. I would love to see more pics. Great job! Can't wait to see it with the lip |

Very Nice! The Sports Gunmetal is definitely much darker than the Titanium Gunmetal SF-71s that I have. The SF-71s just fit the 1 so well.

Thanks for the compliments guys! The Sports Gunmetal color is perfect for my car. I originally wanted the lighter Titanium Gunmetal, however I think it would have looked too light on my car. Kudos to Alufelgen |

Car looks great!
Wish I got the Sport Gunmetal like I originally wanted, just could not wait any longer. Good choice on the tires, I really like mine, they really put the power to the ground. I'm curious if 235's would have fit without any rubbing.

Running AR dps, Maddad midpipes and whisper series axle back. Sounds great!! Not too loud around town but screams when you get on it. Best of all, no drone! |
