should i put racing stripes on my car?

so, like, last night, i was like, getting gas, and like, i saw this monaco 128 convertible, except it had sweet RACING STRIPES!!!!!! there were two, and they were white, and they were bumpy and put on bad, but they were awesome!!!!!

so should I get racing stripes too? i want to be authentically fast. i think yellow or orange will do.

PS some random guy at the gas station liked my car better than the 128 so maybe that means I shouldnt do racing stripes. im so confused.

While this thread has potential, I'm disappointed by the lack of pictures

I'm tempted to say no but am curious on what it would look like. Perhaps a photoshop picture?

It's your car, and if you like it, go for it.

If done tastefully and well, and if the colors compliment each other, it might look good. Just remember, when it comes to appearance mods, less is more.

Give it a shot. You can always remove them if you don't like them.

He's considering putting yellow racing strips on his Blue 1'er...i think that calls for some intervention...and also he did ask for our opinion so we are right to induce some reason (albeit sarcastically)

Heck, why not just laser-etch some stripes and stars and clovers and baloons on it.
