Cool Matte black 120d

Hi guys! My first thread so go easy..

I've searched the internet for images of plasti dipped 1 series but i couldn't find any person who had a full car done in matte black.

I decided to go ahead and do it to my car anyways

Let me know your thoughts I personally love the look.

Apologies for the poor quality pictures as i snapped it from my prehistoric stone tablet

Quick tip for those that ARE going to plasti dip your cars... DO NOT put silicone on your tyres ... i learnt that the hard way as my car has "stains"

look at the image of my rim for example

looks good! did you do it yourself or have a shop do it? The finish came out nice and smooth. I have mine dipped a custom pearl blue but i've gotten so sick of it, i can't wait to peel it. I'm just waiting until the end of march to ensure we don't get anymore snow/road salt.

I had initially tried doing a few smaller items but i wasn't too happy with the finish i was getting when i was done spraying, so i sent it to a shop to do it.
Dropped it off in the morning and picked it up at about 4pm.

The only problems I'm encountering is the stone chips that appear on the front of my car It's starting to slowly peel from where the stone originally hit. I'll try to post up a picture of what i'm saying. Any idea if i spray over taht area again if it will be the same shade of matte black?

I have little bits peeling up all over my car from a rough winter. Under my front bumper where it's scraped on ice/snow piles is peeling up and on the side skirts a little bit as well. Mine get's peeled soon anyway though. The nice part about Dip is that it's easy to repair.

I like the old school plasti dip look. Reminds me of when people used to think that was cool two years ago.

Some of the roads out here isn't as forgiving as the roads in your country! My brother has the BMW performance springs on his 335i and it's like driving a go kart on an off-road track

A rolling picture i snapped from my phone whilst next to him. (apologies for the very, very poor quality) :
