Um, what the? Dickhead. Guess he couldn't afford the MPS so opted for a $4.95 badge off eBay.

I saw an e46 318i this morning with an M3 rear bumper (but without the exhaust), M3 badge on the back and stickers with gills on the front quarter panels

Funny thing is, the owner came out to the car just as I had finished taking the photo of it while I was in the 135... If he saw, probably thought he was pretty smug having someone take a photo of his car!

I parked behind a white debadged E46 Coupe (323/325/330 not sure which) on Monday night with a ///M3 badge on the boot and ///M grills fitted on the front fenders / lowered about 2inches sitting on 19inch fully sick chrome wheels..
Had the phone out ready for the money shot when its burly hairy chested white singlet wearing owner came out and game me the " WTF are you looking at my car for bro" look.. LOL.. I just strolled away leaving Zuzette parked right behind his .. ///M3 Last edited by Zuzu; 11-11-2009 at 05:39 AM.. |

You'd think the tosser would be quite chuffed that someone was taking an interest in his faux M3!

I actually think it's more acceptable to have a non BMW carrying a M badge, as that actually means aspiration. A non M BMW carrying the M badge is what the main issue is.
But the Md is certainly a laugh.

OK... while we're talking about cars trying to be something they are not...
Behold... the latest Ferrari! Ironically, this was the ONLY Ferrari I saw in Italy on my honeymoon |

Just read a few pages - that bloke copped a real pasting! I've seen worse than that in Asia but something like that would get laughed off the roads here.

I just read a few pages too... Basically took a beautiful car and ruined it. The badging is so distasteful. I can't stand it. The thread is good read, he sure was getting flamed!
