Dirt in lip of LCI taillights

I am in the process of detailing my 1 and was cleaning the section of the trunk where all the leaves get stuck and noticed some debris in the well around the tails.

Can anyone make a suggestion on how to clean it?

It's not in the taillamp and no moisture is making its way inside, it's just the lip.

See photos. [IMG][/IMG]

Get a soft bristle detail brush, that will help force all the gunk out of the seam behind the light.

I would try letting the dirt dry and blast it with compressed air.
