135i build Thread .. 'Giant Killer'
So i recently acquired a 2008 135i MSport Automatic with 32k miles.
This is a shot of how the car was picked up at the dealership This car will be used for road course, track events, rallies, meets, and stress relief First mod was a simple one. Black grills (painted, cause i didn't feel like waiting and looking at the ugly stock grill) Than next mod was to paint the wheels black Now for some power, so i decided to go with the JB4 and while i was doing that i decided to put on some Fender Stripes My friend just so happen to be at PetrolWerks with us so he decided to shoot the car. His name is Jeff Rojas and he is an excellent photographer. |

car in the staging lanes Number of the day 6464 racing a Charger Best time she ran with STOCK RUN FLAT TIRES (12.9 @ 106) Last edited by boostingwild; 05-23-2011 at 11:09 AM.. |

i agree..the traps are very low...i was disappointed with the times, this was on map 1 and intake only on 93 pump gas and run flats.
But i do hear that Island Dragway sucks, and that the times would have been better at Atco, or Englishtown. |

Its actually a very average time for your mods. I trap 114mph and 12.7 with exhaust, intercooler, JB4 and intake.
These cars need octane to truly perform. Race gas or meth and you will really see the performance you are looking for. |

Fender stripes should match the line the bumper already makes with the quarter. I think they look kinda ghetto.
However, the wheels... I never knew painting them black could look good! Kudos on that. Also, if you want better times, change the tires! |

2008 M-Sport? Only '09 and up had the M-Sport package (with M wheels and black headliner), yours is just the regular Sport package.
Nice car though!
