The 323i. A detuned 2.5 litre job. Covering all cost bases.
Love the whiplashing torque figure for the 330d. Does BMW provide 4 neck braces for the initial launch phase?

Looking at the 525i against the 523i 0-100Km/h ( 0-62Mph) figures, the 523i is 1 second slower
So if you look at the E90 the 525i is 7.0s So we can assume the 323i will be 8.0s then 320d 8.6s 323i 8.0s |

I think i'm still better off with the diesel. I have the option to AC chip it, and I wouldn't cope with less power and less torque. At least the torque (and savings in petrol asof today) makes the diesel viable

I guess they are trying to attract more buyers with the "320i Start", which is a good thing ... but it's still expensive though .
The 323i is an excellent addition .

I looked at this new price list today. I am shocked. The "Sport Package" now has the M-sports pack and alacantra linings etc and the M-sports wheels and is only a few hundred rand more.
That is seriously pissfull!!!! I can feel my car devaluing as I drive it... :-( (not that I bought the sports pack, but if I knew it had a body kit...i would've!!!) |

From what I can see, the new Sport Package costs R4000+ more than the original one. I only have two regrets for buying early, and they are: 1. I don't have a short-shifter . 2. I don't have a darker roof-liner  . I think buying early may have its disadvantages, but at least we saved some money. The prices on the E90 are higher now, and the Package prices are higher too . Judging from the pictures of the new Sport Pack, I prefer the E90 with the standard bumpers :rocks: ... but we will see whether my current view will change when I finally see the new Sport Pack in real life. In general, I'm still OK with my decision to buy early... otherwise the high prices would have forced me to leave out some of the cool options.

Yea...I would only be getting my car nowish if I had waited for the SP. I am seriously considering getting a Sportech body kit though. Just waiting for them to send me some "photos" or the design...
I'm not so keen on the AC Schitzer one.... (I might get their chip if it becomes a bit cheaper!) |

I have also seen Aluminium pedals advertised from BMW dealers :rocks: . I'll definitely buy those as soon as they are available. When I attempted to buy them two weeks ago, they said they were still waiting for stock from Germany.... I guess they advertised early just to entice us .
