JB4 fuel/map question
Looking for educated opinions: please only comment if you have real time data or experiences! I have a 2013 135i N55 with Jb4/BMS intake/ CP/ DP.... I am running map 5 with about 35% E85/91 blend. Car runs great, a bit inconsistent but feels solid. My question is this. Anyone run 100oct / map 5? If so was it any better or stronger than E85/91 blend? I know E85 is way less cost but let's not factor in price. I have a local 100oct Sunoco pump at $9.50 a gal and don't mind paying the price if it's any better. Any opinion? Also, for map 7, would MS109 be a good choice? Thanks

Youd be better off posting a log of current tune. Could be octane issues, but could be other factors in which case it would be better to fix hardware, then worry about adding fuel.
Also need to see if your LPFP can handle the 35% E.

I have no issues currently. Running 35% E85 to 91 blend. Just seeing if anyone has experience with straight 100oct or MS109.... Planning on getting the car to Terry to dyno/log the car. I do not mind running the expensive stuff..... Just looking for experienced opinion before I spend $150+ per fill up. Thanks

Fair. Nothing wrong with running 100 octane fuel, as long as its unleaded. But... Logic check. Why not sink the money into port injection and run straight e85.
