THE e46 IS INVISIBLE NOW, who agrees?
Leaving the e46 M3 aside. Now that you drive an e90 don't you feel like the e46 4door/coupe is not a big deal anymore. For 6 years it was my dream car.
Now they are INVISIBLE too me!!!

i still like the E46 coupe. It's always looked good to me and it still does. I think it's a timeless piece. I hope the new coupe will look at least as good as the E46 does.

The E46 is a very elegant design that stands out just as much as my e90 does. I love them! Don't get me wrong, I prefer my E90, but to say that the E46 is off the radar is not accurate for me!

I agree...the e46s despite their numbers are still very attractive cars on the street...and the e36 coupes still catches my eye and the really well maintained e30s....but I have to say everytime I see the rare e30 M3 or two I still do a double take...absolutely beautiful...

I think they are still beautiful. Dated, sure. But beautiful none the less.

I still like the E46 but I have never driven one myself but had a friend that got a 2003 325i which I liked a lot. But the E46's couple looks great with the additon of led lights.
I was thinking the other day if I should have gotten a used E46 M3 SMG instead. Maybe in the future In general, older 3 and especially 5 series still looks good and fresh to me.

e46 is one of the nicest cars made ever. Near perfect. I would say it will always be a classic and never be off the radar. No car made that well and looked that good will ever be invisible to me. Just too nice.

Nope, it never was big deal to begin with. Everyone has a 3 series in california. The only thing more popular than a 3 is accord and camry.

It's still a big deal to vendors. If you look at the lack of aftermarket e90 parts available, you start getting the impression that the e90 is invisible.

The E46 is a better expression of what a BMW is supposed to look like than the E90. The last classic one. The E90 is more anonymous, less BMW obvious. Without stand-out wheels, it looks so-so, although less ugly than the E60. |
