Check my timeslip on the 2nd page.

I still have room to improve considering that shitty 60ft was on stock runflats and terrible weather lol.

That's still a solid run. with a lower 60ft you can run high 11s.

Not sure why this dude hasn't posted the baseline image. I can try and get the dyno image from Bren to prove it. If you haven't custom tuned with E85 yet vs stock, you should try it, I think the results are TOTALLY possible because guys with FBO stage 2 setups are grabbing another 50-60whp as well as 50-60 WTQ from the E85/93octane mix.
Bren, also does the vanos tuning, which a lot of these OTS tunes don't take advantage of. You can grab another 15-20HP with this. The Dynapack reads Torque high, but the HP is still an honest measure compared to a Dyno Dynamics, I've gone back and forth between the dynos with near equal readings in terms of HP.

Hi Guys , I'm new here from Australia.Quick question, what does this e85/93 combo normally produce octane wise, in Oz we have 98 octane fuel everywhere and i'm just wondering what gains I can expect when I purchase and install a jb4 stage 2 on my n55 over the next coming weeks compared to say the regular 91 octane figures I see here

cheers

Torque and HP are directly proportional. You can't read high torque and low HP.

just read this thread and laughed pretty hard. I love seeing people get all po'd at peoples numbers. I've used this dyno 3 times and yes it reads a little high...but Bren does rip out some crazy numbers. I love seeing car's go in that are already tuned and having him compare the existing tunes numbers to his numbers after the tune. He doe's pull on the previous tuners tune and than his tune...i've ssen some insane difference's. When it comes to dyno numbers, you can only compare car's that have been on the same exact dyno. No two dyno's are identical. Sweet numbers for that dyno though. Ive seen him pull 475+ whp and 500+ wtq on 335's and 135's on this dyno with full bolt on's, stock turbo's and 50/50 e85

No one is questioning Bren tuning, Dyno's are meant as tuning tools as every dyno is gonna read different. So without a baseline dyno on stock it's hard to say how much their custom tune made vs the OTS maps. It's tuning and dynoing 101. Also no other evidence was provided otherwise. If you guys can't see that you obviously have no idea how dyno's work and are more than likely dyno queens.

Also peasouped why are you bumping a dead thread?

You make me laugh sir. And yes I compare the baseline numbers to the OS numbers (that is a common sense thing to do, so why mention it) Trust me ERV I have more dyno experience than you could possibly imagine.

Why you complaining about the tread being opened? You could always ignore it and move on to the next! Again you make me laughhhh

Because like I said no evidence has been posted other wise. All these claims by you and 2010BMW135i about Bren tuning is making them look bad. Again not trying to bash them, but neither of you have posted evidence of their tuning capabilities.

Just ranting on and on on how good they are without actual proof makes me and I'm sure all the other members who you've both been bashing for asking for evidence on here laugh.

Until you guys put up some solid evidence everyone here is gonna be skeptical. And if you've have so much dyno time you should have known that 2010BMW135i would have gotten bashed on without posting a baseline dyno.

Here's one thread on how to post up evidence with a baseline before and after custom tune.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=778331

So come back with some evidence or don't come back at all. This thread would have been laugh at over on E90 post.

I think you kinda proved ErvGotti's point. OP said he was making 414/440 with just an intake and tune.....

With just an intake and tune you were making 350. and are only making about 30hp more than OP with your dp's, exhaust, fmic, and e85.

Something is not adding up with OP's numbers. Again, without him providing a baseline, we have no idea how much hp the the tune actually added.

That still doesnt negate the fact that Bren's dyno reads high.

Why don't we all just meet up? I haven't driven my car since November, but I'll bring it out to demonstrate to anyone. I'm sure any car in this area wouldn't have a problem with a meet at a fun spot. Let me know who's interested and I'll put something together.

I did not prove ERV right at all. Remember the dyno comparison I posted up is for an 335XI..Not a 135I..What happens when you take a car with the same motor but is RWD not AWD? The car will put higher numbers down because it does not lose power through an AWD system. The average AWD system loses 22% power through the drivetrain and 15% for RWD. Also the member was running a 93/e85 blend. So if we go by mathmatics the 335i would make 374.5 whp if it was RWD. Now factor in E85. You can run more boost and a more aggressive tune. After that we should be right around those numbers....My money is def on Aaron BTW.

and if you watch the video you can see the baseline tune compared to current tune....so besides people saying the dyno reads high (which isnt the real issue because no dyno's are alike and we are looking for a baseline difference)...theres no arguement here.
