Having seen the car my guess is that the engine and transmission are OK. I was able to shift gears no problem if that's any indication. The interior (save for the dashboard and airbag deployment) is good too.

omg..... This is one of the first things they teach you at HPDE's about going over a hill which drops off on a track.... You can see he had ZERO traction and you dont even hear the tires squeal from the slide

No kidding. I wonder how many of the 740 in the US have been wrecked. At least Glassoman is bringing some of them back to life.
