VMR seem to dick around too much.... If u are after the vmr710s, go for the GTCs out of Melbourne. Ex stock, local, same price once you factor in shipping etc

I waited months for VMR to come up with 710s in gunmetal. Always "next month"....

+1 to Jason@Euro-division great wheels

Though having VRM locally would be good too!

Yeh I got a set from jason, but after seeing JD's car at Advan I thought I might get a set ( they are very similar but still different enough) and put some track tyres on them. Or swap the ones I have from jason for the track and the VMR ones for the street....

It is not our intention to let everyone think that we are NOT messing around with our clients. My goal here is to clear up any misinformation/confusion between Jason (who created the screen name of VMR-AUS) and members of the forum.

With Australia being thousands of miles and a dozen time zones away, the logistics of shipping & time management becomes difficult. Shipping by air is sometimes cost prohibitive, and the communication time is also difficult. So aside from resellers who drop ship a couple of sets at a time, our goal is to be able to move by ocean, which will make our product more accessible for Australia. Either way I apologize for the hiccups.

Scoobs, I do not know what ET50's you are looking for but we do have quite a few 19x9.5 ET50 Gunmetals now. Please send me a PM with specifics and I will be glad to work it out. We have recently negotiated very aggressive pricing when it comes to air freight.

Thanks,

Peter

Peter

thanks and I appreciate that appointing a distributor is not a simple task and regardless of what you end up doing, I was getting excited about being able to see the wheels in the flesh before I was going to buy another set.

We are still working out details with a couple of potential distributors in Australia. Meanwhile any orders for wheels are shipped by air directly from USA. You might have missed a sale we had a couple of weeks back...

Would like to see VMR wheels being made available in Aus. The only vendor in Melb that I know of right now is Tyrepower Hawthorn - are they not an official distributor?

Our wheels are definitely available for purchase in Australia, in fact January was one of our best months for the Australian market due in part to the Summer season, as well as the special "summer" sale we had.

Tyrepower Hawthorne is definitely one of our dealers.
