Halogen to Xenon costs...

Hey guys! This must have been asked about a thousand times but couldn't find an answer that I could understand. The DIYs say you need to replace a load of stuff so I'm thinking of getting the dealer to retrofit it for me... does anyone have a rough idea of how much this would cost? (I know it will cost a lot) It doesn't matter if its is Bi-Xenon, Xenon, Adaptive or self-leveling... Thanks!

BTW the car is a E87 120i M Sport

there appears to be a retrofit kit: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...22&hg=63&fg=95

however, it also needs retrofit of the headlight cleaning (and I assume the levelling sensors on the suspension are included in the Xenon kit).

At a wild guess, i'd be amazed if you get it all done for under 2 or 3 thousand....

I looked at a genuine retrofit for the above but nothing was avaliable.

From what I understand this type of retrofit isn't legal?

Not unless you get the self levelers and washers installed as well. And then I suppose they'd have to be ADR inspected. Better to tick the $1200.00 option if you're buying it brand new.

Some people just opt for the xenon or xenon-ish replacement bulbs but I reckon it looks pretty dodgy without the proper "angel eyes".
