I'd have to disagree with that

On MacMook's point, ditto.
I certainly agree that Red for the exterior is cool. The majority of my cars have been red, and red is the quintessential color. It is also considered the sports car color for TV commercials and such, as it photographs the best for film. Even though "Sedona Red" is one of the least favorite colors here, I went to the dealership planning to look at either Red or the Sedona Red. I just happened to walk in the showroom and saw my AW/Terr and liked it right off, and my wife was just drooling over it, and that clinched the deal. I have to admit, that terracotta interior is just fantastic.

My vote would be the Alpine White, if you're set on the Coral Red interior.
The Coral Red is interesting... not sure if it's a color I would continue to like in the long run. Based on different BMWs I see posted on eBay or AutoTrader, seems like it might be a niche color that could be a tough one to sell down the road. Although I hope you have your 1er for many years to come! BTW the Savannah Beige is stunning with Alpine White. |

IMO - coral red is awesome with BSM or JB, but also looks great with AW.
Get black only if you plan on spending a lot of "quality time" detailing your car. White is really easy to take care of. |

Go for space grey.
I was going to get sparkling graphite metallic but they changed model years right as I was placing my order. I am constantly complimented about the color and how you don't see it on the road. I regret not getting the red interior and a sport package and feel that the combination is one that in 30 years a 16 year old will be searching for on ebay/carfax or whatever else will replace them for online auto shopping. Also, it hides dirt very well in the event you don't have loads of spare time for cleaning and allows you to fly under the police radar. White, red and black and blue and primary colors that stand out in the crowd. Good luck with your selection process.

I would go with grey, because it is more subdued and gets noticed less than white. Having a more discrete color will come in handy when speeding past the highway patrol car. Alpine White is too noticeable for my taste.
Grey with red interior is just a classy, original, beautiful combination. |
