Hi Vans and welcome

I be in on a Melbourne meet sometime - my preference would be for an afternoon meet as mornings on the weekend are permanently booked up for me.

Also Van, can you provide some details on the hill climb events you are talking about, I'd love to come along some time to take a look.

Yeah for sure.

I'm doing a Hill Climb event at Haunted Hills near Moe (Gippsland) with the Monaro Car Club. And the Saturday after (24/09) I'm doing a track day at Winton. Hill Climb is short track - plenty of corners and hills, good track to get to know your car.

Yeah just speak to Chris - He's my Business Partner and let him know you are from the 1 Series Forum and spoken to me. I am certain that he will look after you.

Yes agree with RaihaX - would definitely support a local or fellow forum member if the pricing was competitive. Why pay AU$1000-1300 for 19" tyres if they sell for a quarter of this overseas?

I'll do some research on shipping to Perth.

Just be careful when buying stuff from USA. Make sure you get the right Load Index. I have come across product, same manufacturer , type, size but different Load Index. We have an account with Tirerack so we know what to look for. One more thing is warranty.

Anything you can get at wholesale that is light and looks good? . I have soft spots for BBS or Volks. Forgestar has a bit of following in the F10 forums, but I am not sure if there's correct fitment to the 1ers. Supposed to give much better weight distribution.
