BMW Perf Short Shift Kit for 135... Best and cheapest place to purchase one?

Hi Guys,

Can anyone recommend the best place and cheapest way of getting my hands on a BMW perf SSK for my 135i without stealing one....

I have wanted one for a while now, just haven't been able to justify the price tag that goes with it. Its amazing how inflated all 135i bits cost compared to other 1 series parts.

Cheers.

I would assume unitedBMW or tischer should give you a good deal?

Only choices are Andrew@SouthernBM or Bmminiparts.com from the UK. No good getting a SSK from United or Tischer as they are LHD.

I got mine from Andrew.

Big Pappy - you have a N54 right? Then you can order the BMW Performance SSK. For N55's BMW does not make a SSK, but I suspect you could use the shift lever arm - but no one has confirmed that here.

You can order the BMW SSK as a KIT or each part single. Ordering the parts individually is cheaper. I think it was 30 euros cheaper ordering that way.

6MT

N54 = 80mm throws
N54 w/Perf SSK = 55mm throws
N55 = 70mm throws

Here are the part numbers for all the Perf SSK w/o the (round)shifter knob and alcantera bag for my 135i N54: (LHD)

25110434218 shifter arm 121 euros
25111220600 plastic bearing 6.50 euros
25110434217 shifter lever 55 euros
25117571899 clips (you need two!) 039 cents each

You might also need to drop the front part of the mid pipes. My Zentrum needed to do that. IF so you'll need two new exhaust gaskets. See my post bellow for the part numbers.

For a N54 RHD car you need:

25110434217 shifter lever
25111220600 plastic bearing
25110434218 shifter arm
25117571899 clips

Thanks guys, appreciate your comments.. Especially Dackelone

I have an N54 (2008) so I might just order the RHD parts from realoem as Dackelone suggested. I think I can live without the Perf Knob and boot.

Cheers.

Mine's still slanted and apparently that means incorrect installation. Gonna have a rage to my SA about that
