135i raido vs 535 radio?

Is the good radio in the 135 (2008-2010) comparable to the good radio in the 535 (same vintage)?

I ask because I looked at a 535xi today and the radio in it was amazing. If that's what the good radio in the 135 sounds like, I absolutely want that system.

It is very hard to compare the raido in one car to the radio in another one; they do different things

You're probably going to get a richer sound out of the 5-series as it is a larger car and has more room for more speakers.

Probably depends on the speaker package. The "BMW Professional" stereo in my son's 128i sounds good; the same system in my 135i with the Harman Kardon speaker package sounds FANTASTIC, after just a bit of tweaking.

Garage List
Standard radio in a Z4 sounds better than the non-HK (I think it's standard) radio that came in my 135. Both units say "BMW Professional."
