I need a Kidney(grill)

Hey guys,
I'm looking to get high gloss black kidney grilles. Do any of you have a picture with them installed. What do you think will look better on a jet black 1er, matte black, gloss black, gloss black with matte slats, matte with gloss slats or carbon fiber?

What do you guys think of these from ebay? Anyone tried it yet?

My matte black kidneys have the same slat design as those. They fit perfectly. No guarantees they are the same manufacturer though!

My personal preference for Jet Black is matte black accessories.

Here's one from far away that I took for my build thread, I'll take a closer shot later if you want.

I just painted my stock kidneys and they turned out great. 3 coats of primer 2 coats of gloss black and 1-2 coats of clear. As long as you take your time it will turn out great and only cost you a few buck. They are surprisingly chip proof I have had them on for a few months and not a single scratch or chip.

Thanks Cammula, but i wanted to avoid a diy. Prefer to just buy it. Especially since it only cost 50 bucks.

Oh no; did you park your 1er in a dark alley in Mexico and wake up to find it in an ice bath with one kidney grille missing?!

Lol I plasti-dipped my grilles when I had an E90. Took 30 minutes plus dry time and looked awesome. Peels off too. $20 spent.

If you want to buy, $50 is a great price. Go for it!

I'm debating matte black, gloss black, or carbon for my Sapphire Black Metallic 135i. Anyone have other examples they can post of different grills on black 1ers?

Re-read your question... Matte black grilles on gloss looks great. The gloss blends otherwise. Pic of the grilles from my old 3er for reference.

I have gloss grilles on my BSM 1er. I prefer the gloss, as it matches the window trim.
