Wth...looks like u did the install in a parking garage..

Did you hafta take apart ur whole damn engine in order to do this or something??

I would def want the functional vents if i had an open intake. Their M3 hood has the removable ones so u can have em closed or open/.

I did them in a warehouse full of cool cars and I keep my cowle off so I can hear the intake better.

Sounds like a jet taking off when I go wot on the highway

Dayum, I luv that pic...super cool Monte Carlo and Lincoln? in the background. I even missed the roof rack, that is epic!! By cowl you mean the AC filter and what it's attached to? I ran without that way for a while when I was trying to get my Procede setup working right. When the weather cooled down I got way too much smell from my catless downpipes when city driving and reinstalled the filter and cowl. As far as sound goes, you have to have the turbo siren sound as hard as you push. Just that sound and an open intake is crazy as is.

Btw, the hood and trunk look great but I think I'll go with the functional mini M3 style vents when I get mine. I've already lost tons of weight in the rear with my seat removal, etc so doubt I'll get the trunk.

More pics plz!

I dont get a siren so to speak as in a failing turbo but I do get a very noticable turbo sound with catless dp's and my RR setup. the m3 vents wont do much and your engine bay will get just as dirty as your car does...

I will take more pics tomorrow

The m3 vents are right above the manifold and open intake if you have one, thus exiting a good amount of that hot air noone wants, and honestly, theyre small nuff, wont make a huge difference as far as engine dirtyness unless u leave em open thru every rainstorm, etc. Which is why they have the open and close function
