I tried stage1, but was disappointed in drivability (boost came on waaay too quickly for no reason... even with the stock throttle mapping) and power compared to my JB4. Things got even better with 'auto-learning' (map 5) on the JB4, while I waited on Cobb to release a stage2 map...

I'm wondering how stage2 compares. I'll most likely flash it tonight, but I was hoping for some information to hold me over.

I ran the Cobb Stage 1 tune on my 135i, which was full bolt on. Now, running stage 2+ on the 1M full bolt on, is much smoother, and obviously more powerful. Yowzers!

I saw 21 lbs, but only for a second...and only once. Usually 19lbs to a solid 18lbs there after. Of course it tapers a little towards the top of the RPM range.

Honestly...its kinda hard to look at the P3 when on the gas like that.

When I ran early Beta I would hit 19s regularly, which was...concerning considering it was on an all-stock car. And it's also inefficient, you get nothing out of running such high boost on stock turbos/DPs/Intake/FMIC, other than stressing the turbos/engine needlessly. Which also explains why I didn't run it much on those type of settings. Spoke to Cobb a few times on this matter, they've 'turned' it down a notch or two since then.

For those who haven't tried out the 4.02 maps yet, I highly suggest you give them a shot. Very smooth map.

There's been like 3 firmware updates in the past 3 days... Anyone know what they're changing? No release notes. I suppose you have to re-flash when there's firmware updates? It isn't technically a map update...

Did someone campare Evolve and Cobb?
As I understood the Cobb linear map is more interesting for a DD + track, because it has no turbo lag, but if you run the stock trottle the turbo lag take place?
Didn't really undestend about the M button, it functiones only with the stock trottle, which has turbo lag, or it is still availavle in linear map?
How much PSI does it go on st.1 and st.2?
Did some one has any Check engines ore some other problems with the Cobb?

I have been more than satisfied with how Cobb has been performing in my car. That timeslip was strictly on 93 octane, but now I have bumped it up to the race maps and my best time is a 12.078@118.20 with a 2.072 60ft. This was done on stock runflats, so I'm sure with better tires, running 11's would not be out of reach. I'm running the Stage2 93 map for the 1M. I was launching the car earlier today and I did a very aggressive launch (compared to my usual launches).

I was in MDM mode and went WOT very quickly and the car bogged down. I didn't get a chance to look at the dash, but I'm wondering if something went wrong (Knocking, etc), or if traction control kicked in very aggressively? I've had traction control kick in while in MDM and it's very subtle.. This wasn't subtle. It was like I let off for a second.

Guess I'm gonna have to bust out the AP and try to replicate and log...

Stratus, do you have a base dyno at the same facility or do you know your car's fully stock numbers?

Unfortunately we couldnt get the car back stock for another run on that day. I need to plan it though. Im expecting 295whp.

If i pass by next week ill make sure to add that to the graph

What type of dyno are you running on? 350 hp on a mustang dyno is pretty good.

Dimsport dyno

My target was achieving a bigger area under the curve instead of peak hp, you can see that the power is available accross a wider rpm range

You're peaking at under 5,000 rpm where the stock tune is between 5,500 and 6,000. Greater area under the curve is good, but it's really where the power is made that counts.

Good point! I didnt see it from that perspective.

The logging to achieve this tune was done at ambient temperatures of 38-40 degrees c (dubai summer).

I would do more logging when the weather cools down here, which might give me enhanced top end performance
