BBS CH Replicas fitment question
Hi all.
I've recently bought a set of BBS CH replicas. They should arrive this week but I'm not sure if they will fit / rub. The specs are: 8x18 ET35 9x18 ET42 M Sport stock suspension, front M3 control arms and slightly negative camber. The tyres are MPSS 225/40 & 245/35. What do you guys think? Will I have to roll my fenders? Thank you very much. Regards! |

Will be close, I think you'll rub a tad in both the front and rear but only when the suspension compresses, mainly when carrying extra weight. Having an alignment shop add a little rear camber would be a better choice than trying to hard to roll the rear fenders.

Looks like the fronts will be more of an issue if anything. I would definitely have them rolled. The rears might be ok but it will be close.

Both front and rear will be fine depending how wide a tyre you run. I'm running 19x8.5 et35 225 tyre front with no issues at all, no camber plates and no guard roll, 19x9.5 et45 in the rear with a 255 tyre and still have plenty of room left with rolled guards.

Thank you guys!
The wheels fit perfect. I dind't have any issue so far. Only some minor rub in big speed bumps driving too fast (my fault!!) in front axle. Nothing important. The rears are great, at least with the trunk unloaded and without passengers in the back seats. But, nevertheless, it would have been better had higher offset in front wheels, like ET 38-40. They will look better, and wouldn't stick out from the front guard as they slightly do now. |
