That was fun...just got back. Went downtown to rev-it-up in a parking garage, some hoodlum-lookin' skateboard punks hangin' by the entrance, hmmm...maybe not, went to the next one, vroom vroom, he does sound good!

Next thing I know it's 35 miles more on the odometer after another sortie across the most awesome HWY 238, caught snow on the way out where it was clear for most of the drive, opened the windows, the exhaust note broadcasting through the wooded canyons, had to close the windows as it was snowing on the way in. Springtime weather in Oregon can be a bit of an unknown. I have discovered, during these many races across 238, this car is so quick, inevitably, someone is right in the way. Every time.

Surname, that sounds like a fun ride, even with the traffic!

The route is awesome, the road is exceptionally well-maintained with loads of undulating, elevation-changing chicanes, most posted limits for the many direction-changes are 35 or 40, usually negotiated at 70-80 with little drama, adequate visibility for most turns, and, best of all, very little traffic and no law enforcement, however, as I mentioned in the previous post, the car is so darn fast it catches all in front of you.

I love this car.:roundel:

I used to have a 1973 911T with triple Webers and a Bursch pipe. It was the most exotic sounding thing ever. I loved running the Smoky Mountain roads with the windows down.

I dont know if anyone has done this i did this with my older car back in the High school days. I took the resonator out and replaced with a straigt pipe. It made a big difference.
